St. James Park

Another gorgeous day in London. Warm and sunny! Who would have believed it after last week!
Trouble on the district line, however, signal faults causing delays, much over crowding!

Went for a morning walk and ended up in St James park. Just lovely. Spent about 3 hours there watching the water birds and being accosted by squirrels. They are muggers in miniature you know.
Saw the Guards marching and playing. Very impressive!

We then went to the National Gallerl. Amazing old masters - Michelangelo, Tintoretto, Raphael, Bosch, Caravaggio and heaps of others. Wow!!!

No photos allowed unfortunately. It was terrific.

  1. Thank you for the 'facetime'. Callum was thrilled to bits to see you both and when he saw your cards in the mailbox he said "Mum, these have come all the way from London!"
Didn't have the heart to tell him that you gave them to me a month ago in Ringwood!!!!!!

You be pleased to know he spent his money on a TV that has a DVD from Big W! He is very impressed with himself. We now are in the process of writing up some rules...like no TV after 7pm or in the mornings on weekdays etc...
I will get Seng or Jo to laminate them and stick them on his wall!

    Enjoy the sun! Speak soon.
